This farmhouse terrine with piment d’Espelette is made by traditional producer La Belle Chaurienne, based in beautiful Castelnaudary in the South of France. This pâté is made using French pork meat, a hint of piment d’Espelette for warmth and has no added preservatives.
The Espelette pepper, grown in the French town of Espelette, is the only chili with European Protected Origin status, it has a distinct flavour that, rather than being extremely hot, is deep, fruity, and warm, evoking the cuisine of the Pays Basque region of Southwest France.
La Belle Chaurienne is famous across the world for its confits, cassoulets, and terrines, and here at BonneBouffe we stock a huge selection of their high-quality tinned and jarred traditional French meals and dishes.
